Directions

From the M8: Come off the M8 at either Junction 17 - 18 depending on the direction. This is the Junction adjacent to StoweCollege. You will come off the fly over onto Great Western Road. Follow until you reach the Botanic Gardens Crossroads, with the Oran Mor Church Bar thing on the left. Turn right onto Queen Margaret Drive and follow to the top of the hill. Turn left onto Maryhill Road. Continue along the road, passing Tesco, McDonalds and the Police Station before going underneath a bridge. Continue along the Road until it expands into a dual carriageway, and turn right at the roundabout at the end, and enter GARSCUBE.

From the University: Drive up the hill of University Avenue, with the University on the left, driving down the other side and through the traffic lights to a crossroads with Tennent’s Pub on it. Turn right and pass through a number of sets of traffic lights until you reach the Botanic Gardens crossroads with Great Western Road. Carry straight on onto Queen Margaret Drive and follow to the top of the hill. Turn left onto Maryhill Road. Continue along the road, passing Tesco, McDonalds and the Police Station before going underneath a bridge. Continue along the Road until it expands into a dual carriageway, and turn right at the roundabout at the end, and enter GARSCUBE.

Public Transport: Get an 18 bus from Byres Road and get off on Maryhill Road BEFORE St Mary’s Primary School on the right hand side. Then wait at any bus stop for a 119, 109 or a 40 heading in the same direction, and get off just before the roundabout at the bottom of the dual carriageway hill, GARSCUBE is on your left hand side

For Glasgow Uni Students: For players, a minibus will leave for training from the GUU approximately 40 minutes before training starts, check with your captain for details. During Freshers Week SRC minibuses will run every half hour from behind the SRC building to Wolfson Hall (Garscube). After Freshers week, minibuses will still run in the evenings, but not as frequently as before. Check out the timetable to find out more, but make sure you get on the bus for WOLFSON HALL, there are no hockey pitches at Murano!
