Welcome to the homepage of the Biggest and Best Sports Club at the University of Glasgow!

The GUHC is the most active, enthusiastic and exciting club on campus, with an excellent reputation for is sporting success and buzzing social life. The club has 6 teams Saturday teams, all of which compete across Scotland each weekend, as well as 3 BUSA Teams which compete every Wednesday afternoon against other Scottish and UK Universities. The Club also fields two indoor teams during the winter months, when the weather is unsuitable for outdoor play. With a combined membership of over 200 students, you can be sure that by joining the GUHC you are joining not only one of the most successful but most inclusive clubs at Glasgow Uni. The club is inclusive of all standards of hockey, and everybody from pro to novice is encouraged to come and experience one of the most enjoyable sporting atmospheres Glasgow has to offer. Despite being a successful sporting outfit, the GUHC is also renowned for its eclectic social life. The Club has always prided itself on having a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and all people hockey players or not are more that welcome to join in on any of our socials. These range from Meet the Gang to GUSA Ball, Christmas Dinner to Pub Golf, Club Dinner to the Annual Tour, and of course the infamous GUHC Subby! As always the Men and Women join forces to ensure that wherever the party is, the GUHC are at the centre of it!

The highlight of the Clubs year is of course the annual tour which has taken us as far as Dublin, Holland and Spain. This is possibly the most awaited event in the calendar and has been described by many as the ‘greatest week of your life’. More details above.
